About
Is one of those that think she can change the world. Maybe not alone but together with all the amazing people out there, it is possible. In hope of that change I have been studying at the department for Global Studies at the University of Gothenburg and have this fall, 2009, continued my grad studies at the American University in Cairo. Gender and Female Studies are now my major and I will also try to improve my Arabic. The Middle East, Islam, politics and feminism are things you may be will read about here. Or just about a young woman’s search for the truth that will make this world to a just place.
Above was written in May 2009 and I think this blog’s intention at that time, first and foremost, was to make it possible for my family and friends to follow me and my experiences in the Middle East. Today I see my blog as my activism in addition to my academic education. It is here my political standpoints can take place but at the same time a forum where I can develop my thoughts about the realities we are living in. I still believe in another, better and just world but I will not contribute to that transformation by only deconstructing everything and nothing with my co-students. Then this blog is a good complement right now.
hope for you all the best dear.
the truth is around us we need just to look clear in front of our eyes. so we can make a good truth for all.
kind regards
